Our yoga classes explore awareness and mindfulness, build strength, and explore the mind body, breath connection. All yoga classes are unheated.

FLOW YOGA

This offering is a flowing practice with a focus on the foundations of postures. The class has a combination of mobility, strength, and alignment that enhance any level of practitioner interested in developing more awareness in breath and movement. All Levels classes are suitable for beginners, masters and everyone in between. These classes offer modifications so that you can customize your class to fit your specific needs and level of expertise.

GENTLE YOGA

Gentle yoga classes are slower-paced, with fewer intense poses and more meditation or breath work. They can also include more seated and supported postures. It offers nurturing, kindness, and compassion for the body, regardless of whether a student is injured or healthy, young or old, pregnant or not.

 YOGA POSITIONAL THERAPY

This is a therapeutic class based on the Physical Therapy techniques of SCS/MET (slacking muscles and facilitated stretches) and other modalities geared towards reeducating the musculoskeletal system in optimal alignment.  AYT-Positional Therapy Yoga comprises 6 sessions each focussing on different sections of the body; individual sessions can be attended as all sessions offer benefit to the student.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga is a gentle and relaxing class that works deeply into the connective tissues and joints of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine and is suitable to all levels of students through extended holds of postures. This is a great class for beginners or advanced students looking for a restful class that focuses on restoring flexibility and/or working deeply into joints and tissues.  The Yin practice brings stress relief to the physiological systems of the body as well the muscles and bones.

BARRE BLISS

Barre is a dynamic workout that combines elements of ballet, pilates, and strength training into a class that with regular practice totally transforms the body. Barre classes work and engage muscles throughout the body that are not usually targeted in other forms of exercise. With high reps and low impact movements, barre class challenges anyone looking to get more tone. No ballet experience needed.

QIGONG/TAI CHI

"Qigong, pronounced “chi gong” was developed in China thousands of years ago as part of traditional Chinese medicine. Qigong involves using exercises and movements to optimize energy within the body, mind and spirit, with the goal of improving and maintaining health, vitality and well-being. Because Qigong is low impact it can be done sitting or standing. No experience necessary.

BALLET BURN

Experience the intense physicality of a dancer's training without the pressure of perfect technique. This high-energy class combines ballet-inspired movements with modern fitness techniques to challenge your entire body.
